Yup, reposting!  We only have one tf capable artist signed up.  If you are willing, please check the links.

It’s that time of year again, SFBB is underway, and TF fandom is kinda the red-headed stepchild.  Everyone is cool over there, but no one wants to draw us authors robots (smutty or otherwise).  Last year it landed in just one sweetheart of an artist’s lap, and she drew for 3 or 4 fics, bless her aching hands.

So I’m crawling out here on my knees, begging the wonderful artists here on Tumblr to please check it out, and if you’d like to be involved, please sign-up to be an artist.

I’ll poke at the other authors and see if anyone is willing to give me a few sentences of a summary too, to help artists feel out if it’s something they’d want to be involved in.  I think there are only five of us right now in the challenge for TF fandom.

Dellessa - “Essentially the story I am writing is about the twins and Red Alert. They end up getting separated, the twins think that Red is offlined, and vice versa. Red Alert grows up in the streets running with a gang of other younglings until he gets mixed up in something that almost gets him killed. It’s cracky as hell, but it’s been a lot of fun to write. Vortex and Flamewar are…actually pretty fun to write.” (G1 AU)

 

DracoQueen22 has a working summary of - “Snapshots of an alternate history where Sunstreaker and Sideswipe were raised separately, without knowledge of each other.” She says that it’s a G1-based Twins fic with large cameos from Tracks, Swindle, and Smokescreen.

 

LadyDragon76 is writing gods only know what yet.  It will be one of the fics on her To Write List (found here: http://ladydragon76.livejournal.com/184904.html ).  It might end up still being Breaking Point, or maybe Honorable Hostage, maybe Amnesia, or possibly the Ratchet/Megs Time Travel.  Honorable Hostage and Breaking Point are the two most likely at the moment.  Feel free to PM if interested, but want more info on plots. (G1/IDW AUs)

 

NK’s writing horror starring G1 Ratchet and two other Autobots whose names would be spoilers. The biggest plot points would also be spoilers, and she wants the impact to remain untarnished to potential readers. Interested artists can ask LD or NK for a full summary and the relevant warnings if they have notable squicks and/or (especially) triggers in order to determine whether or not they’d want to draw for her story.

 

UltharKitty is adding more to her story Wages of Compassion (found here: http://archiveofourown.org/works/254205/chapters/395245 ) Summary, “Vortex is mortally wounded in battle, and only a spark bond can save him. First Aid can’t bring himself to walk on by, and ends up making a drastic and life-changing decision.” (G1)

In the meantime, you should probably remedy this wandering-attention problem. I have written you a step-by-step guide in case it’s needed. One never knows, after all. You are the one who let her roam in the first place.

Step One: Transform.
This step is important. You will know if you’ve done this step correctly by looking down at yourself. Are you currently a car? No? Then you’ve done this step correctly. Are you currently a jet? Then you’re an overachiever and good on you!

Step Two: Grab her firmly.
Again, this step is important. She can be wrigglesome.

Step Three: Check that this is actually your artist.
An easy step to verify. Are you currently holding onto a car? Not your artist? Then you’ve done it incorrectly. Are you currently holding a jet? Not your artist? Consider it an upgrade.

Step Four: Spank her.
This step is fairly self-explanatory, but then again, so is sex and the human race has been screwing that up for all of history. Apply hand to aft region most vigorously. Try to make it not-sexy, as this is discipline. Unless you are dating said artist, but still — hey, save it for later.

Step Five: Don’t write her fanfic about it.
That’ll show her.
